GCF Attorney Dillon Roberts Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in Tax Law

Dillon Roberts, LL.M. recently achieved board certification as a specialist in Tax Law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education.  Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in their area of practice. Dillon is now 1 of only 205 Tax Law board certified lawyers in the state of Florida.

As a member of Gould Cooksey Fennell’s Estate Planning & Tax Group, Dillon Roberts focuses his practices in the areas of family business succession planning, estate planning, estate and trust administration, and tax planning. With eight attorneys, GCF’s Estate Planning & Tax Group is the largest practice group of its kind in Indian River County, and each member has a graduate law degree in either taxation or estate planning.

Each Board Certification is to act as a distinguishing accomplishment and to help consumers identify specialists in each area of law. Dillon’s certification adds to the existing four GCF attorney’s with board distinctions: David Carter (Civil Trial), Eugene O’Neal (Civil Trial, Business Litigation & Construction Law), Troy Hafner (Wills, Trusts & Estates) and Anthony Guettler (Wills, Trusts & Estates). Of all Florida Bar members, only 7% go on to become board certified. Board certification was established in 1982 and is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar. Congratulations to Dillon on his hard work in receiving this earned distinction.
