ATTORNEY CREDENTIALS
Brooke W. Odom is a member of our firm’s Litigation Department, and focuses her practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial and business litigation, as well as probate and trust litigation. Ms. Odom grew up in Sanford, Florida, and spent her junior year in high school as a Congressional Page in Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2000, and from Stetson University College of Law with a juris doctor in 2004. While a student at Stetson, Ms. Odom served on the school’s award-winning Moot Court Board.
Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Odom joined the appellate practice group of a large law firm in Tampa, Florida. To be closer to family, Ms. Odom moved to Vero Beach in 2006. Since moving to Vero Beach, she has worked as Assistant County Attorney for Indian River County, and at a small firm practicing commercial litigation. Ms. Odom’s broad range of experience is invaluable to her approach to litigating her cases and maximizing results for her clients.

Notable Settlements and Verdicts
Plaintiff was operating a small motorcycle/scooter when a 91 year old man turned left in front of him hitting him essentially head on. As a result of the collision, the Plaintiff sustained catastrophic injuries to his lower body, including snapped femurs and fractures to the spine and pelvis. After a two week trial the Indian River County jury returned an award totaling $9.381 million.
Medical negligence claim arising out of a breach in the standard of care by a physician and hospital in which an incorrect, corrosive chemical was used during a gynecological procedure, resulting in acid burns and severe permanent injuries to the Plaintiff.
A Brevard County Jury awarded Plaintiff $6.4M against Defendant State Farm, following an accident that resulted in numerous catastrophic orthopedic injuries, including a below knee amputation of the Plaintiff’s left leg.
