Dane R. Ullian is a litigation partner practicing civil trial law with a focus on medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death cases. Mr. Ullian has earned significant jury verdicts and settlements, helping secure tens of millions of dollars in compensation for clients who suffered injustice and harm.
Mr. Ullian’s strategic approach to the law is deeply informed by his diverse background – including service representing corporate clients in complex commercial litigation, clerking with the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and serving as an intelligence officer and captain in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Ullian grew up in Vero Beach and contributes to the legal community as a member of the Indian River County Bar Association Board of Directors. Notable Settlements and Verdicts
Plaintiff was operating a small motorcycle/scooter when a 91 year old man turned left in front of him hitting him essentially head on. As a result of the collision, the Plaintiff sustained catastrophic injuries to his lower body, including snapped femurs and fractures to the spine and pelvis. After a two week trial the Indian River County jury returned an award totaling $9.381 million.
Medical negligence claim arising out of a breach in the standard of care by a physician and hospital in which an incorrect, corrosive chemical was used during a gynecological procedure, resulting in acid burns and severe permanent injuries to the Plaintiff.
A Brevard County Jury awarded Plaintiff $6.4M against Defendant State Farm, following an accident that resulted in numerous catastrophic orthopedic injuries, including a below knee amputation of the Plaintiff’s left leg.
