Gould Cooksey Fennell is pleased to announce the retirement of longtime real estate attorney Christopher Marine, following an extraordinary 42-year career with the firm.
Christopher has dedicated more than four decades to the practice of real estate law in Vero Beach. His depth of knowledge, local and beyond, has made him a trusted advisor to generations of families, businesses, and real estate professionals.
“Christopher has been instrumental in shaping who we are as a firm,” said Managing Partner Anthony Guettler of Gould Cooksey Fennell. “His commitment to client service, his integrity, and his leadership built the culture and values our team embraces every day. We are excited for him as he begins this next chapter, and deeply grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.”
While Christopher will be greatly missed on a day-to-day basis, the firm’s real estate practice is well-positioned for the future. Partner Sandra Rennick will continue to lead the Real Estate Group, supported by the Gould Cooksey Fennell team. Under her leadership, the practice will continue to thrive and grow, carrying forward the firm’s principles of community, trust, and legal excellence that Christopher exemplified throughout his career.
“He has provided many hours of wise consulting and advice, not only to my family and company but to many others in our community,” said Dale Sorensen Sr., Broker/Owner of Dale Sorensen Real Estate. “Christopher and the firm are very valuable assets to their clients and the well-being of all Indian River County residents.”
As he looks ahead to retirement, Christopher is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Debby, visiting more often with his sons, Christopher and Sam, and enjoying time on his farm in Georgia, time that is certainly well-earned after a long and distinguished career.
Gould Cooksey Fennell welcomes clients, colleagues, and friends to join in celebrating Christopher’s retirement and honoring the lasting mark he has made on the firm and the Vero Beach community.
