April joined Gould Cooksey Fennell in 2003 after relocating from Fredericksburg, Virginia to Vero Beach, Florida. April is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience working with high-net-worth clients and corporate entities. She is detail-oriented and possesses strong analytical skills while working with outside Advisors and in-house Attorneys to assist our clients in reaching their individual and familial goals. With a background that includes roles at former financial institutions, April has a well-rounded view of understanding the distinctive intricacies of our clients.

April holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, complementing her legal acumen with a robust understanding of business operations. Additionally, April is licensed in two areas of insurance, further broadening her skill set in the financial and legal arenas.

Beyond her professional pursuits, April is a dedicated freelance artist, channeling her creativity into various projects. She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, and exploring new cultures and experiences. Passionate about community involvement, April actively supports environmental initiatives and mental health awareness programs in her local community.
