Iliana S. Malaret, JD
CO-Director, Family Office Services

With years of experience leveraging relationships to achieve shared goals, Iliana works closely with the family office group and clients trusted family advisors to provide the highest level of service to the families she serves. She plays a critical role helping to onboard families, coordinate sophisticated planning strategies for multi-generational families, rising gen-education, and family meetings.

Prior to joining the family office group, Iliana spent over a decade in policymaking. She began her legal career as a government affairs consultant, and provided legal counsel with a focus on policy implementation and fiscal management to three administrations. More recently, she served as a cabinet member and executive director of the governor appointed sate service commission on Volunteerism and Community Service in Puerto Rico, where she supported public private partnership development and coalition building post Hurricane Maria. Through this experience, she witnessed firsthand the commitment and dedication affluent families demonstrate toward their communities.

Iliana is Vice-President of the Women’s Club of Vero Beach, and serves as pro bono legal counsel of The Great Outdoors Fund. Her passion for supporting meaningful causes reflects her values and vision of a thriving community.

When not at work, Iliana cherishes quality time with her husband and children.

She holds a J.D. Magna Cum Laude from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. Summa Cum Laude in Counseling Psychology from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, and a B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Psychology from Marist College, NY.
