Cameron M. Dalton a member of the firm’s estate planning and tax group. Mr. Dalton’s practice focuses on complex estate planning, tax planning, estate and trust administration, business planning, and entity formation. He assists clients with forming and implementing tax efficient estate and business succession strategies to accomplish clients’ dispositive goals and preserve assets for future generations.
Mr. Dalton graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor’s degree in 2020 and earned his Juris Doctor degree and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2023. As a student at the University of Florida, he worked as a Research Assistant to professors of both the Levin College of Law and Warranting College of Business, and served as Vice President of the Estates & Trusts Law Society.
Mr. Dalton was raised in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia and now resides in Vero Beach, Florida. Prior to joining Gould Cooksey Fennell as an attorney, Mr. Dalton worked at the Firm as a Summer Law Clerk. Apart from the practice of law, Mr. Dalton enjoys Gator Football and spending time with friends and family.

Plaintiff was operating a small motorcycle/scooter when a 91 year old man turned left in front of him hitting him essentially head on. As a result of the collision, the Plaintiff sustained catastrophic injuries to his lower body, including snapped femurs and fractures to the spine and pelvis. After a two week trial the Indian River County jury returned an award totaling $9.381 million.
Medical negligence claim arising out of a breach in the standard of care by a physician and hospital in which an incorrect, corrosive chemical was used during a gynecological procedure, resulting in acid burns and severe permanent injuries to the Plaintiff.
A Brevard County Jury awarded Plaintiff $6.4M against Defendant State Farm, following an accident that resulted in numerous catastrophic orthopedic injuries, including a below knee amputation of the Plaintiff’s left leg.
